Qualification for the labor market
We offer education and employment measures, qualification measures, coaching, training and subsidized jobs as well as measures for the integration of prisoners through work and qualification.
In our social department stores and associated projects, we pursue a holistic work-integration approach. The aim is to restore/acquire employability, the social and societal integration of disadvantaged groups and integration into the general training and employment market.
This is reflected in our wide range of services:
The AIP - Work Integration Perspective measure is aimed at people who are able to work, are not gainfully employed in accordance with Section 1 (1) AsylbLG, are no longer required to attend school and have little knowledge of German. The part-time measure comprises 20 hours per week for six months, with the possibility of extension. The aim is the social inclusion and integration of refugees into the primary labor market in Germany.
AIP promotes intercultural exchange, breaks down prejudices and makes use of existing skills. Participants learn about labor market-related activities in the areas of sales, warehousing, transport services, textile processing, housekeeping and the café in our social department stores "Anziehungspunkt", the requirements of the primary labor market and acquire initial language skills.
Work opportunities (AGH) are activities sponsored by the Jobcenter for long-term unemployed people who receive citizen's allowance. The aim is to help them re-enter the labor market and participate in society. Participants get used to the rhythm of work, gain professional experience and improve their skills. They receive educational support and assistance in reducing barriers to placement in order to improve their chances of regular employment. They also receive recognition for their meaningful work and make new contacts.
In our social department stores in Neumünster, Bordesholm and Hohenwestedt, long-term unemployed people are employed and trained in order to improve their employability. AGH are designed for a maximum of 24 months within five years, with the possibility of a one-off extension of twelve months. Assignments by the job centers are usually for six months. The training takes place in the areas of sales, storage, transportation, textile processing, housekeeping, café and energy-saving checks.
