About us

We are an interdisciplinary team with diverse expertise in the fields of women's health and FGM/C and regularly undergo further training in these areas. The participation of clients and multipliers is the absolute core of our work and forms the basis for our open, appreciative, culturally sensitive and needs-oriented approach.

Our stance

Our counseling services are aimed at all people - regardless of their faith, origin, nationality or gender. The special and unique nature of each individual is at the heart of what we do. In our dialog with our clients, we focus on the person as a whole. We respond flexibly and individually to the needs of the people who turn to us. Due to our focus on FGM/C, our clients come from different countries of origin and we treat their individual characteristics with respect and without prejudice. Our clients include women and girls who are affected or threatened by FGM/C. We also support families who are dealing with the issue and offer special counseling for men from prevalent societies.
