FGM/C stands for "Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting", a ritual circumcision of girls and women. A girl is subjected to this ritual every 11 seconds worldwide. Even in Germany, there are at least 50,000 victims and a high number of unreported cases.
These procedures and their consequences, in which women and girls are physically and emotionally injured, haunt them for the rest of their lives. We offer the opportunity to talk about problems and seek help. We listen, no matter what religion, culture or ethnicity they belong to.
