The school resource fund starts again

Starting and changing school is a very special event in a child's life - and often just as exciting for the whole family. To support families in Neumünster during this time, there is the school resources fund, which has been managed by Diakonie Altholstein since 2013.

The fund provides first and fifth graders from families who receive transfer payments such as child benefit supplement, housing benefit or citizen's allowance with high-quality, new school bags or rucksacks including pencil cases and sports bags. The personal contribution is 20 euros. Applications will be accepted from spring 2026 at the Diakonie Altholstein family center.
