Fundraising campaign for the benefit of Diakonie Altholstein's help for the homeless

(Neumünster, November 28, 2024) In 2024, various partners have decided to support the Neumünster homeless charity with an initiative. The aim is to sustainably improve the lives of homeless people in Neumünster.

The Diakonie Altholstein overnight shelter not only offers a safe place to sleep, but also a place of hope and community. Help is needed to continue to make this space inviting and functional and will hopefully be provided through the "Aktion mit Herz" campaign. Lord Mayor Tobias Bergmann was also immediately enthusiastic about the campaign, so he agreed to support it as patron.

The social campaign has two components. On the one hand, money will be raised through the sale of self-designed Christmas baubles, and on the other, a painting by the artist Wilhelm Bühse will be auctioned off, the proceeds of which will also go towards supporting the homeless charity.

The initiative has now been launched in the Holsten-Galerie Neumünster. Anyone can design their own Christmas bauble and contribute to achieving the goal with their purchase. With lots of fun and creativity, you can now buy and design your own Christmas bauble for 5 euros on Saturdays on November 30, December 7 and 12 between 1 and 6 pm. For every bauble sold, four sponsors will donate an additional 5 euros each to help the homeless. This means that a donation of 25 euros can be made with the purchase of a bauble! We would therefore like to thank the sponsors Ackrutat, Sparkasse Südholstein, Elektro Krabbe and Holsten-Galerie Neumünster.

A special highlight is expected on December 12: The auction of a unique work of art by the well-known artist Wilhelm Bühse, which will be exhibited in advance in the Holsten-Galerie. The auction starts at 5 pm.
